We are currently receiving an increasing number of inquiries regarding the following situation:

You have already accepted your place at HAW, the money has been transferred. But now you have received a further acceptance from another university/college and would like to change there.

How do you proceed now?
Unfortunately there is no possibility to get the full semester fee back from HAW. However, you can get a refund for the HVV ticket:

You have to show your certificate of exmatriculation (copy) and your SemesterTicket (original, either plastic card or temporary paper ticket) at the ticket office of the S-Bahn Hamburg.

You have to do this as soon as possible, since the refund is not valid from the day of exmatriculation but from the day of application.
