What does it mean to be Black and learning in schools, workplaces, and universities? Am I alone in my experiences? Is being black always political?
These are some of the questions we want to engage with in Studying While Black. The idea is to open up a space to share experiences and existing strategies for action, as well as to provide inspiration and new perspectives, and to allow time to connect.
No prior knowledge is needed to participate in the workshop. You are invited to bring your questions and your concerns to the workshop.
The empowerment workshop "Studying While Black" will be held in German. If needed, we can organize translation (also in sign language), please contact us for that.
The workshop is open to all Black people and is free of charge!
