In the last semesters we have started to make antifascist cultural events about Swing.
We are planning to organize another big celebration on the campus next year together with some other Swing dancers.

Dance, music and art are not only nice accessories of our society. Dancers*, musicians* and other artists use them to express feelings, longings, dreams and thus to rebel against a system with which they do not agree. Dance can be part of cultural resistance. Resistance against a system of oppression, narrowness and competition. Dancing at eye level can also break through the mask of anonymity. Thus a common, alternative, solidary culture can begin.

In this context, we have also further expanded our cooperation with "Lola swingt! The next Lola Swing Party will take place on 23.11.. For HAW students, admission is free when they show their student ID.
