In addition to the panel discussion on Thursday (11.07. at the HAW) and the fashion show, Black Poetry Evening will take place during the African Week "Africa and Sustainability". 

One third of the Hamburg population has a background of migration. This includes the black community. They form a physically homogeneous but sociologically heterogeneous group. Poetry expresses various life experiences of personal world views. You are cordially invited to the second edition of the Black Poetry Evening of the African Student Organization in Hamburg e.V. 

Under the motto "Black like the printing ink" we want to combine being black with their right to self-image. 

Here they accept their right to freedom of opinion and determine their own identity(s).
