The difficult situation with the HVV,

The HVV made major changes on 15 December. There are three more rings and you can now travel with the HVV for example to Cuxhaven. Our semester ticket, however, remains limited to the previous area, although this is not quite correct either. Soltau, Soltau Nord and Wolterdingen will be moved from ring E to ring F without further ado and thus fall out of our ticket.

It is also not possible to simply book necessary additional areas. No, it is expected that the persons concerned will buy an additional subscription card for the respective areas. Even though this may not affect many people, for all those it affects, this is a significant cut in their financial situation.

The Landes-Asten-Konferenz (LAK) of Hamburg, whose member is the AStA of the HAW-Hamburg, has already started efforts to change this situation this year. We will intensify these efforts next year so that you can travel in and around Hamburg at a fair price in the future.
