One of Hamburg's first central reception camps is not located in Hamburg but on the border to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, more precisely in Nostorf-Horst. The absolute isolation of the fugitives, some of whom have to live there for more than a year, is an example of the structural racism to which adults and children are exposed..

Every year the group "No Camp Horst - Stop Isolation" organizes a summer party in front of the camp, which should enable visitors to get their own impression of the camp and to get in contact with the people living there. The festival is part of the educational work of the group, but it is also a moment of forgetting about the isolation of the residents, which is the aim of the group..

Together with the AStA, a bus will be organized to enable HAW students to participate at the festival. We are happy about many interested people who want to express their solidarity with the fugitives in the ZEA Nostorf/Horst.
