In addition to the counselling services offered by the AStA, the HAW Hamburg itself offers its own information and counselling services, including the Student Counseling Office.

The Student Counseling Office is a first point of contact for both prospective students and students.

It is an information and advisory service of the HAW Hamburg. Trained advisors help you with all your questions about studying and support you with problems or personal crises that arise during your studies.

You are also in good hands here if you have questions about starting and progressing your studies, for example, if you are not yet sure which degree programme is right for you.

All consultations with the Student Counseling Office are free of charge and are treated strictly confidentially.
